"The Trilogy Meter"
"The Trilogy Meter" Image Link
(My Thoughts):
Star Wars- pretty accurate I guess... I liked episode IV the best, but still.
Indiana Jones- "Raiders" & "Last Crusade" were equal to me, but I understand why everyone thinks "Raiders" is the best.
The Matrix- Obviously the first one is the best, but I don't think the sequels were that much of a lesser pair of films.
Star Trek- I only saw "II: The Wrath of Khan"... it was alright.
Superman- "Superman II" was not as good as "Superman I"... "Superman III" is rightfully placed though...
Jurassic Park- The main guy from 1 is in 3... therefore, I thought 3 was a little better than 2.
X-Men- I agree.
Spider-Man- I agree. I don't think 3 was that much of a disappointment though.
Lord of the Rings- "Two Towers" was boring and dull. I felt "Fellowship" and "Return" was were it was all at.
Mad Max- Didn't see them, but I get the impression most agree.
Jaws- I don't think 2 and 3 should have any credit at all.
Back to the Future- I think 2 should have been ranked a little closer to 1.
Die Hard- I always thought 3 was better than 2.
Blade- never saw all of all three Blades.
Planet of the Apes- I agree.
Godfather- ...I guess?
Rocky- I agree.
Terminator- I agree.
Rambo- Agree.
Batman- Overall, more or less, yeah, I agree.
Alien- Didn't see "Alien"

Some Movie News + A Happy Valentines Day
Alright, so, apparently: There is to be a "Monopoly", "Candy Land", and "Stretch Armstrong" movie. (WOW / YIKES)
Hollywood is getting perhaps a little too desperate... But anyway:
The word is that Ridely Scott ("Gladiator", "Blade Runner", "American Gangster") is directing the "Monopoly" movie; I don't understand why he would, but more importantly what would it look like? Serious? Funny? A mix? My bet is on serious, since he's not much of a comedy guy.
"Candyland" was just recently announced, no real word on it. I guess it could be alright (as far as little kids go).
Steve Oedekerk ("Kung Pow", "Barnyard") is working on "Stretch Armstrong" (That makes sense). I'm a fan of "Kung Pow: Enter The Fist", so I could be pretty funny.
Also, (sad news for me) rumor has it that (after months of speculation) Bryan Singer is not going to direct the next Superman movie ("Man of Steel", sequel to "Superman Returns"). I enjoyed "Superman Returns" a great deal, and I would've loved for it to have been continued, but after a while I probably would've just felt like like seeing a Superman movie no matter what (sequel or reboot). The rumor also extends to say that The Wachowski Brothers ("The Matrix", "Speed Racer") have been asked to direct the reboot. I have no real opinion on this yet (I'm somewhat leaning toward a "please don't"). I enjoyed "The Matrix" trilogy allot, but I don't think that their particular vision would blend in with the world of Superman (as many see it).
Cross your figures and hope these films aren't too disappointing (if they must be).
