Very funny, considering I have no desire to see "Knowing"...
...and "Next" looked cheap too.

I saw "Watchmen" and I think it is perhaps the best superhero movie ever made, or it at least ties with "The Dark Knight" for that and for my favorite movie now. I do appreciate that both of these films have accomplished proving that superhero films should not be synonymous with children and young teenagers. I'm a fan of the graphic novel, and I feel that the film did it a great deal of good. Sure it left out some stuff that was in the book, but you either don't really notice it, or you shouldn't really be bothered by it. I would have had no other director than Zack Snyder do this film, as well as the actors he cast for all the characters. This is without a doubt one of the best adaptations ever captured on film. I'll be looking forward to the directors cut DVD with +30 minutes of footage. Shame it'll be the last DC Comics movie for a while, most likely until "Green Lantern" in December of 2010.

"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" movie rant.

Ok, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" looks pretty fair, and it's cool how in this one, it mainly focuses on Wolverine. But, the thing is, all the X-Men movies focused mostly on Wolverine; he was a huge character of interest (and obviously the fan favorite) in "X-Men", he was the center of attention is "X2", and he was pretty much the leader for 80% of "X-Men III: The Last Stand". So, sure they're finally revealing his origin, but for them to advertise and make a big deal that in this one he's the main character, strikes me as a little redundant, because he's always the main character.
